Featuring David Baskeyfield playing an all Bach program with special guests the St. Paul’s Sinfonia playing the beloved Brandenburg concerto No. 2 BWV 1047 in f minor! In addition to being the theme to PBS’s Masterpiece theater, the first movement was included on the Golden Record sent into space on NASA’s Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft in 1977. The record is a representation of “The sounds of Earth” and is described by Carl Sagan as a cosmic “message in a bottle” intended for potential extraterrestrial discovery – you can hear it here on earth LIVE and it promises to be out of this world!
