Caroline Shaw, daughter of parishioners Jon and Bob Shaw, received a 2023 Grammy award together with the Attacca Quartet in the category “Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance” for their album “Evergreen, a recording of five original works written by Caroline: three pieces written for string quartet—Three Essays, Blueprint, and The Evergreen — and two songs written for string quartet and voice. It also includes an interpretation of a twelfth century French poem, which the Quartet performs with Shaw on vocals.
